Wayne Fincher gets 6.5 years for standing up for your rights
Wayne Fincher, patriot and militia founder in Arkansas received what was considered a 'light' sentence on Friday. Considering all he did was fail to pay a $200 tax to the FedGov for his machine gun, I find 6.5 years to be slightly heavier than that. But in all honesty he could have gotten 10 years and a $10,000 fine. In fact, had he taken the plea bargain that the Feds wanted him to take, he could have apparently had almost no jail time.
But silly Wayne, didn't want to roll over and play stooly for the ATF and other .gov agencies, so he is taking his lumps for the rest of us.
The true shame of this case is that the Judge never really allowed Wayne to defend himself based on the constitutionality of the NFA gun laws. As we've seen recently in DC, those things seem to go our way. But the courts can't allow anyone to threaten their monopoly on how laws are interpreted.
Wayne, you're in our prayers.
